At BRSSOS we undertake topographic surveys for any purpose

these include surveys for commercial developments, roads, housing and rail using traditional Total-stations or GPS equipment. We also install control networks, based on local grid and OS co-ordination systems and the survey sizes have ranged from a single house development to a 19K new motorway.

BRSSOS has worked on a number of railway surveys which have taken us from Aberdeen to Dover and into Europe. These have included basic ‘as-builts’ through to complex track layout surveys for redevelopment works.

Our specialised trolley equipment can be put to a number of uses including Surveys for track designs\compliance, Track surveys pre\post bridge demolitions, validation of reinstated track following waterproofing of bridge structure and Creation of tamping schemes.

As a company we also provide bespoke semi permanent control monuments, positions of which are fixed to provide surveyors with a permanent marker for the duration of the “works” and can be dismantled when complete.
