Semi permanent control station monuments

The monuments provide the perfect solution, for the age old problem of having a stable control station, that equipment can be left set-up on & is highly visible.

Unlike traditional solutions of concreting pipes into the ground, which can take a day to install & then having to wait for the concrete to set before it can be used. Our monuments can be built & used in less than 10 minutes.

THERE IS NO DIGGING REQUIRED TO INSTALL, SO NO POTENTIAL CABLE STRIKES & NO PERMITS TO DIG.

WHEN THE WORK HAS FINISHED THE MONUMENTS CAN BE DISMANTLED & RE-USED

The beauty of the monument solution is in its simplicity, it can be transported in the boot of a car, carried to its desired location and can be built in less than 10 minutes. We install monuments using 1 team, as a second team are carrying out the traverse immediately behind them, enabling control stations to be installed & traversed in one shift.

Using a tripod, instruments can be seriously damaged if the tripod is knocked over.

This won’t happen if using the monument, as it is so stable. Even if a dumper was to run into it, the monument would slide & the equipment should remain intact (unlike a tripod where the instrument would be destroyed). The monument is laser cut & folded out of quality materials, it is powder coated to provide a weatherproof & highly visible coating (different colours can be supplied).

It requires just a spanner (or socket attachment for an electric drill) to build, and can be done by 1 man.
We have worked throughout the UK and into Europe with our trolleys, and our close links with manufacturers allow us to produce bespoke survey equipment.

We also provide a full installation service, whereby we deliver, install & traverse all monuments, and then collect/relocate when finished with.
